DD Conan’s Titania
![]() ![]() | Titania is a stunning dark silver grey female daughter of the late great 6Peruvian Conan, now deceased, sire of many Champions – Lancaster, Lord Stanley and Kodiak, to name a few – and Ciudad Victoria - who has produced many notable color Champions and show winners herself. All had exceptional character and brightness on strong well covered frames.
Titania has the large bone and coverage of her sire 6Peruvian Conan, with the bright fleece he so often passes. Her color is incredibly consistent, with very few of the spots often seen on greys. Titania only went to a few shows, but placed well against some very tough competition. Titania, when bred to true black AOBA blue ribbon winner, Havana’s Peruvian Cohiba, produced her first, and so far, only cria - a beautiful grey male – CBAR Cohiba’s Credo. We liked the result so well, we took her back to Dos Donas Alpaca Farm for a repeat breeding to Cohiba for a Spring 2014 cria. Cohiba’s cria have exhibited great character, and luster and his first son to reach maturity, Aficionado, has a density of 72.5 follicles/sq mm, which is well above the average of 40 follicles/sq mm! But what else would you expect from Cohiba, who brings an impressive pedigree, including such industry greats as Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Dakotia. Unfortunately, Cohiba passed away before his time in an unavoidable farm accident this summer. We feel fortunate to have Credo on the ground, and look forward to the birth of another Cohiba and Titania offspring in Spring 2014. Cohiba’s Skin Biopsy:
